Dr. S. Sean Bamshad, MD, is a board certified Physiatrist specializing in treatment of chronic pain. He graduated from Albert Einstein College of Medicine and received a medical degree in 1998. After his schooling Dr. Bamshad spent his internship at UCLA and was given the dean’s scholar for academic excellence award for six terms. He then spent his residency at Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at UCLA Medical Center in West Los Angeles and was the chief resident from 2001-2002. Dr. Bamshad completed his fellowship at the Interventional Pain Management Department of PM&R in UCLA shortly after that.

In 2003 Precision Occupational Medical Group, Inc. was born, specializing in the treatment of tendonitis, utilizing the non-invasive shockwave therapy. With this new FDA approved procedure he is able to treat faster and cause less discomfort for the patient than alternative methods of treatment, setting a new standard in the ongoing search for a cure to tendonitis.
